Ligature Management Course
Effective ligature management is a critical component of maintaining safety within mental health, social care, custodial, and other high‑risk environments.
This comprehensive training course equips staff with the knowledge, awareness, and practical skills needed to identify, assess, and reduce ligature risks, helping to protect vulnerable individuals and support a culture of proactive safety.
Participants explore the principles of ligature risk management, including how and why ligature incidents occur, common ligature points and materials, and the environmental, behavioural, and situational factors that increase risk.
The course blends theory with scenario‑based learning to build confidence in recognising hazards early and responding appropriately.
